Our Lord, the Light that Overcomes the Darkness;
or Out of the Void and into the Light

The Lord our God is so awesome. To think that out of God Himself comes all of creation! For we came forth out of our Lord. What an awesome plan of God! His mystery is too wondrous to comprehend. His handiwork is just a small insight into the awesome goodness of our God. In the beginning there was only God and of His very being He brought forth Life! Into the darkness He spoke forth the very Light of existence. There He sat in the vastness of timeless space and He brought forth boundaries. Into these boundaries He brought forth creation. With a Word all was brought into being. "The Word was God and the Word was with God." All is complete in Gold!

In the fullness of time God will bring all things to completion!!!

He sat there before eternity.
He sat there without humankind.
He sat there in His splendor.
In His Loving Grace,
He desired to meet us face to face.
He gave His all that we might live.
Never did He despair,
that we would not someday come
To Him and return His loving gaze,
He is an awesome Loving God,
This Father of ours, Divine.
His children that we are,
He loves us all mankind.
He gave His all that we might live,
Redeemed us with His blood,
Washed clean from sin,
He gives to us His freedom from above.

"My God, my All," I cry to Him,

"I Love You, Lord above,
I place my faith, my hope in You,
in the Heavens up above.
Out of the dark You brought forth Light,
so that I would not despair,
and gave me faith to overcome,
Strengthened, by Your Love from above."

There He sat in vastness we cannot comprehend and He spoke forth The Word, and Light came into being. None had an inkling as to the meaning of The Word. There had never been one like it before or since with which to compare. God sat there so pleased by the beauty He saw, that a smile of pleasure appeared upon His face. With God's creation of The Light came Life. What started as a speck became an all consuming fire, for it brought Light into All of creation. The Light dispelled the darkness! This is the Light that overcomes! This is the Light that brings Life! This is the Light of the world! This is Christ!

Into the darkness He spoke The Light.
The Day that would overcome the night.
There He sat in the vastness of space.
Before He joined the human race.
His ways so far above what I can understand.
I know that by God this was all planned.
In the darkness that we call the void of space,
Our God bespoke the human race.
By His plan we all were made,
molded in His image out of clay.

The Word goes forth to accomplish all that He intended. The Word made flesh is how we are mended. The Word does not return void. The Word is God in human form. The Word brings Life, the Word is Truth. The Word's the Way that all may use. The Word is Love. The Word is Christ!
