As you know, I have been very ill with pancreatitis, suffering constant pain, and unable to keep food down. I underwent all kinds of tests, exploratory surgery, and had my gall bladder removed. I have been admitted to the hospital six times for a total of eight weeks since March of this year. Several general doctors and six specialists from various hospitals, from O'Connor to Stanford, could not help to relieve my pain. But I can tell you that since I attended the Charismatic Healing Mass last Saturday I am pain free and more happy and energetic than I have been all year.
As you know, I am 24 years old and engaged. I was so down and discouraged because I did not want to live my whole married life in physical and mental pain and possibly be unable to have children. I, along with my family, was desperate for some relief and salvation.
Today, August 6, I went to see my specialist at Stanford. He had consulted with many other doctors throughout the country regarding my case. Today he said that I have totally baffled the medical community, and it seems that I may be curing myself of a medical problem that no doctor could explain or cure. I do not feel it is merely coincidence that I began to feel better just hours after I had been prayed over at the Healing Mass at Holy Family. My miraculous recovery is just that-a miracle. And the best part is that, at the same time, I experienced an even more powerful SPIRITUAL heading! That night I gave control of my life to Jesus, and since then I surprise myself and others at how boldly I talk about God. I've been told I have changed and have a glow about me.
My heart and prayers of thanks giving go out to all who participated in the healing mass and especially to you, James. You are truly an angel who guided me towards help and healing when I needed it most. Thank you so much. You can never know how much this has changed my life. Thank you and God bless you in all that you do!
