A Prayer

Father;
Thank you for not showing me the future.
Because if I already knew the future, I would cease to seek You in everything that I do.
I would be cocky and pride full.
In the security of knowing, I would commit many willful sins, confident that, "all will be well anyway!"
Lord, never let me get so pride full in what little knowledge I have that I will feel self-important.
I make you the focal point of my day because I don't know the future or anything else of great value, and I trust you in all that I do, in Jesus's name.: Amen
